  • Develop and maintain an organized inventory system that

supports clinical workflows and minimizes waste, shortages,

and overstocking

  • Assess instrument wear, damage, and lifecycle status to

determine sharpening, repair, replacement, or disposal needs

Utilize inventory management tools and software, where

applicable, to track usage, orders, and costs

  • Collaborate with the dental team to establish standardized

ordering, budgeting, and communication practices related to

hygiene inventory

  • Analyze inventory-related problems and propose evidence-

based solutions to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost-

effectiveness

  • Demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability in

managing dental hygiene instruments and supplies within legal

and ethical guidelines
